Justin Bieber's remix in two languages Despacito came out in the year 2017. Then, numerous pop stars began to collaborate with reggaeton artists. Drake collaborated with Bad Bunny to create MIA (2018) in addition to Madonna collaborated with Maluma in the creation of Medellin. The gradual mainstreaming of reggaeton became a concern for some performers by 2020. Rauw alejandro and a younger generation determined to maintain the style. The incorporation of elements from electronic dance music, and various other genres was a typical practice.
